Built for imaging teams.

QUBS exists to connect patients, referrers, clinicians, and imaging clinics through one reliable platform. Founded in 2017 on work that began in 2009, we focus on practical RIS and PACS workflows that reduce admin friction, speed up reporting, and support better care outcomes across Australia.

Our story started in 2009, when our co-founders worked closely with radiologist Dr. Amarash Dayanandan to understand the day-to-day realities of imaging operations. Those early collaborations shaped the first RIS deployment in 2011 and set the foundation for the product direction we continue to refine today.

The Evolution

In 2014, we identified a critical barrier: on-site infrastructure was costly to maintain and difficult to scale. We redesigned the platform for the cloud in 2015 and launched QUBS as a serverless-first RIS and PACS platform in 2017. In 2023, we began applying LLM capabilities to automate repetitive workflow steps.

Today, our focus is simple: automate routine work so clinic teams spend less time on admin and more time on patient care.

Before QUBS became a product, a co-founder accidentally acquired the QUBS.com domain in an auction. That unexpected moment helped shape our vision for a modern imaging platform.

Pronounced "Cubes", the name reflects structure, precision, and connected systems - principles that continue to guide how we design workflows for clinics and imaging teams today.
