My Health Record and healthcare identifiers
Connect your imaging reports with My Health Record
Discuss My Health Record setup
Share authorised diagnostic imaging reports and access supported patient health information from QUBS. Keep the report, patient and clinical context connected as your team prepares information for My Health Record.
From an authorised report to My Health Record
Use the patient and report information already held in QUBS to prepare an upload. The workflow supports checking the intended patient, reviewing the document and following its upload history.
Confirm the patient and clinic context
Check the patient and their Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI), along with the healthcare organisation and clinician details required for the upload.
Prepare the authorised report
Use the authorised QUBS diagnostic imaging report and its PDF representation. Review the patient and document details before submitting.
Upload to My Health Record
Submit the supported document through the configured My Health Record connection using the appropriate staff access.
Review the upload history
Check the recorded upload outcome and history in QUBS. Staff can follow up when a report needs attention.
Connect this with your QUBS reporting workflow and agree how staff manage report changes and upload follow-up during setup.
Review supported health information
Authorised staff can access supported My Health Record documents and views for the selected patient. Document lists and retrieval help clinicians review the information available to them within the patient's record.
The published QUBS listing includes views for diagnostic imaging reports, pathology reports, prescription and dispense information, observations, the health check schedule, the health record overview and the Medicare overview.
Prepare your clinic for connection
QUBS can discuss the setup your organisation needs before using My Health Record. Bring your clinic and reporting requirements so the connection can be planned around your team's workflow.
- Organisation registration: review your clinic's My Health Record registration and the healthcare organisations and sites that will use the connection.
- Identifiers and credentials: check patient IHIs, the organisation's Healthcare Provider Identifier - Organisation (HPI-O), relevant clinician identifiers and NASH certificate configuration.
- Staff and report workflow: agree access permissions, supported document types, upload steps and responsibility for reviewing outcomes.
Discuss your selected QUBS plan, clinic requirements and setup scope with the team.
