QUBS cloud RIS and PACS
Clinic software for Australian cardiology diagnostics
QUBS supports echocardiography (echo), ECG, Holter and stress-test workflows for Australian cardiology clinics. Its cloud RIS and PACS connect scheduling, imaging, reporting and billing; review your device connections and reporting requirements to confirm the setup for your service.
Review your cardiology workflow
Opening a new clinic?
You can discuss your setup before equipment and the opening date are final. QUBS sets up the system and provides staff training.
- Describe your service: share your locations, equipment, staff roles, reporting arrangements and expected study volume.
- Arrange machine configuration: QUBS supplies PACS configuration details, such as AE title and IP information. Your clinic enters them into the machine or contacts the manufacturer to configure it.
- Prepare referrers: supply your referrer list in Excel for QUBS to import.
- Plan staff training: agree which staff and workflows the QUBS training will cover.
- Check the clinic workflow: agree how your team will check bookings, imaging, reporting, billing and delivery, and who decides whether the setup is ready.
Migration can take place after your clinic starts using QUBS. Agree which records are needed at launch, which history will follow and how staff will access essential history during the transition. Other historical-record imports depend on source exports, sample assessment and an agreed scope. Use the migration guide to plan each stage.
Bring bookings and diagnostic work together
Use QUBS to connect the administrative and imaging steps around a diagnostic appointment. Review referral intake, patient information, bookings, reporting and billing as one journey, with responsibilities clear for reception and clinical staff.
Explore the QUBS RIS workflow and scheduling. For a group practice, include each site and reporting team in the demonstration.
Check your study types and device connections
QUBS supports echo, ECG, Holter and stress-test workflows. Bring the tests you perform and your equipment list so the demonstration can show the acquisition, reporting and billing steps for your proposed setup.
- Identify which supported workflows you need: echocardiography, ECG, Holter and stress testing.
- List device models, acquisition software and the files or data they produce.
- Confirm which measurements and images need to reach the report, and whether any steps use another application.
- Check report templates, review and authorisation with the clinician who will use them.
The review confirms which study, device and analysis requirements the proposed setup covers. Review integrations and PACS with your requirements.
Connect reporting with referrer delivery
QUBS connects report authorisation with configured delivery channels. HealthLink and Medical Objects can carry authorised reports to referring practices; a referrers portal provides a complementary access channel.
Your clinic supplies its own messaging-provider account. QUBS does not charge setup or usage fees for those integrations, and provider charges may apply. See how referrer report delivery works.
Support your cardiology billing workflow
QUBS supports private, Medicare, DVA, motor vehicle insurance, workers' compensation and custom billing types for human healthcare clinics, including cardiology. Confirm the billing configuration needed for the services your clinic performs.
In a demo, follow an appointment through to its invoice or claim. Check the provider details, billing type and follow-up process your team uses. Billing software support does not establish eligibility for an individual service.
Compare pricing and plan your move
The pricing page includes cardiology plans with included study volumes and excess rates. Check the plan's inclusions and optional services against your clinic's workload.
For a group, review multi-site coordination. If replacing existing software, prepare a record and connection inventory using the migration guide.
What should your software budget include?
Start with the monthly plan, its included scan or study volume and the excess usage rate. Then check the selected plan's features, optional support, SMS or fax charges and any third-party services. The QUBS pricing page lists the published plans and add-ons.
For a new clinic, request a written scope for configuration, equipment connections, training and any setup charge. For an existing clinic, include any data migration work. Prices are in AUD, excluding GST. One billable study is one modality within one appointment; imported studies count, while corrections and reuploads of the same study count once. Review the pricing page and the costs that apply to your proposed setup before committing.
How do support and access to your data work?
All QUBS accounts include basic email support. Paid support options include phone support. Read the Support Policy for coverage and response targets, and compare the optional support plans with your operating hours.
The current Service Agreement says customers may export Customer Data during the subscription and that QUBS provides a copy upon termination. Confirm the records, images, format, retrieval process and any applicable charges your clinic would need.
Use the Security Policy and Privacy Policy to review data handling. Ask how hosting, access permissions, backups and recovery apply to your proposed configuration.
