QUBS cloud RIS and PACS
Telereporting software for your chosen readers
QUBS provides telereporting software for Australian imaging clinics working with their own reporting clinicians. It connects imaging, reporting, report delivery and reporting payments. QUBS does not provide a staffed clinical reporting service.
Discuss your telereporting setup
From images to authorised reports
Reporting and referrer/reference viewers are built into QUBS, so a separate viewer is not required. Optional Intelerad integration is available if wanted; your clinic must sign up with Intelerad separately.
Use the reporting workflow to prepare and authorise reports, with PACS and image viewing alongside the clinical information. Review your intended readers, client clinics and connections during setup.
Authorised reports can be dispatched through configured delivery connections. Your clinic manages the provider accounts. Review report delivery and tracking with the team; a transmission status does not establish that a clinician has read or acted on a report.
Coordinate client access and reporting payments
Staff access can be restricted to particular sites or client clinics. Discuss the access each reader and administrative team needs, including any multi-site arrangements. Confirm separate business and billing requirements for your proposed configuration.
QUBS automated reporting payments calculate reporting fees, collect funds and transfer them to reporters. Discuss your fee arrangements and confirm payment timing, charges, failed-payment handling and reconciliation before agreeing the setup.
If you need readers, QUBS can introduce reporting clinicians already using the platform. An introduction does not guarantee their availability, cover or reporting turnaround.
Who manages each part?
Agree clinical arrangements with your reporting clinicians
| Area | Clinic and reporting clinicians | QUBS |
| Reporting service | Choose readers and manage allocation, cover and clinical reporting arrangements. | Supply telereporting software; possible introductions to existing QUBS clinicians. |
| Clinical exceptions | Manage urgent findings, amendments and clinical decisions. | Supply reporting and delivery software tools. |
| Reporting payments | Agree reporting fees and payment arrangements. | Supply tools that calculate fees, collect funds and transfer them to reporters. |
The Service Agreement states that QUBS services are not a medical device and are not intended for emergency or life-critical use. Your clinic and reporting clinicians remain responsible for clinical decisions.
Plan for exceptions before starting
This is a planning example for your clinic and readers, not a demonstration of configured product behaviour. Agree who acts when:
- A reader is unavailable or cannot complete an assigned case: decide who arranges cover and hands the case over.
- A finding needs urgent communication: agree the contact, escalation and acknowledgement process.
- A report needs an amendment: agree clinical approval, communication and redistribution responsibilities.
- A delivery or payment needs follow-up: agree who checks it and how the issue is resolved.
Bring these scenarios to a workflow discussion so the team can assess the proposed setup.
Telereporting questions
Does QUBS supply reporting clinicians?
QUBS currently supplies telereporting software, not a staffed clinical reporting service. QUBS can introduce reporting clinicians already using the platform, without guaranteeing availability or turnaround.
Do our readers need a separate image viewer?
No. Reporting and referrer/reference viewers are built into QUBS. Optional Intelerad integration is available, but your clinic must sign up with Intelerad separately.
Who manages allocation, cover and urgent findings?
Your clinic and reporting clinicians manage allocation, cover, urgent findings and amendments. QUBS supplies the software and payment tools. Agree clinical responsibilities and escalation arrangements with your readers.
Can staff access be limited to client clinics?
Yes. Staff can be restricted to particular sites or client clinics. Review the access required by each team and confirm your proposed business and billing arrangements.
Can QUBS automate reporting payments?
Yes. QUBS automated reporting payments calculate reporting fees, collect funds and transfer them to reporters. Confirm fee arrangements, timing, charges and exception handling for your setup.
How are authorised reports delivered?
Authorised reports can be dispatched through configured delivery connections. Your clinic manages provider accounts. Review delivery tracking and follow-up responsibilities; transmission status does not prove that a clinician has read or acted on a report.
Which plan applies to a reporting-only service?
Review the published QUBS plan pricing, then request a scope and quote for a reporting-only service. Share expected studies, readers, client clinics and required connections so the team can assess the setup.
